July 19-21, 6 to 8pm-- VBS

July 23 - Reading Tornado Relief Day in Franklin County

           4 pm – Park
ROAM Motorcycle Club begins to arrive to display bikes
            Bluegrass band, Round About, plays

            5pm – Park
Cowboy BBQ for supper
You are expected to make a GOOD-WILL donation for all those eating!

5 to 9 pm – Main Street in front of School
Flatland Cruisers Car Club on display
Local car owners are encouraged to display, also.

9 pm --  Schoolyard
Movie to be projected on outside screen – “American Graffiti”
Come dressed 50’s and 60’s style – white t-shirts, rolled up jeans, ponytails & loafers. 

August
20 -- Public Square Retreat
23 -- RCD, 7pm, UMethodist Church
27 -- Men's Breakfast, UMethodist Church basement,
6:45 am -- coffee, 7 am -- breakfast
Come prepared to toss money in the kitty to pay for the food supplies.

September
1 -- City Council meeting
6 -- Post Office Closing meeting, 7pm, Reading School
10- Ride for the Red, 10:30 am to 1 pm, lunch served in the Reading Park
17-- Kansas Wesleyan invites Reading to attend home opener at Salina Stadium FREE, 6pm
24-- Garnett Corn Festival

October
1 -- ABATE Fundraiser Ride
Truck Pull in the Park
