The purpose of the Lyon County Law Library (LCLL) is to provide legal information support to attorney members of the LCLL. Physical access is available to library members during courthouse hours - typically, 8-5 Mon - Fri. Established according to state statute, the Lyon County Law Library is completely supported by attorney member fees and portions of court docket fees. Its does not use tax money for its support. access is available Wed & Thurs mornings from 9 to noon, or by
appointment - call or email to make arrangements. The librarian is on-site Wed & Thursday mornings, Thursday afternoon and other times by appointment.
The librarian can provide instruction on the use of legal materials. She cannot interpret or explain the law because to do so would constitute the unauthorized practice of law.
