It serves as an educational, information, assistance and resource center for senior citizens and their families. The Department encompasses three main focus areas; Aging Services, Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP) and General Public Transportation (L-CAT).

Persons age 59 and under may also order a meal for a slightly higher price. Call the center the day before to reserve your lunch.
Aging Services Aging Services works through many federal, state, local and community organizations to address senior issues and concerns. It works with Lyon County’s six senior centers and the North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging in support of the Friendship Congregate and Home Delivered Meals Program and other services mandated by the Older American’s Act and the Senior Care Act.
